ABR, CNC, GRI, SFR, SRS
Becoming a Realtor was a decision I never second guessed. I pride myself on my ability to respond quickly and have my clients always feel like a top priority, whether during or after their transaction. I have been in real estate since 2008, have my Managing Brokers license, am an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Negotiation Consultant (CNC), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Specialist (SFR), and Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS). In 2015, I started The Casselyn Group, a team of like-minded agents and admin to help facilitate our clients even more thoroughly than before.
I received the National Association of Realtors 30 Under 30 for 2014 (an honor only given to 30 agents in the country per year), the Five Star Professional award in Chicago Magazine for October 2011 - 2020, Top 500 Real Estate Marketers, the Biltmore Who's Who award, as well as remaining a consistent top agent in our office.
I graduated from The University of Iowa in 2006 with my B.A. in Communication and Business Entrepreneurial Certificate. I was the Coxswain for the Men's Rowing team, as well as help start the Hawkeye Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club, all while going to school full time, raising my chocolate (late) lab, Boomer, and working part time. After my graduation, I eventually moved back to the Chicagoland area, where I rescued my pitbull, Bailey, settled into the suburbs, and met my husband, Brad, all while actively expanding my real estate business. In 2018, Brad and I welcomed our son, Caleb (CJ), who is a mini-Realtor in training, and in 2020 we welcomed our 2nd son, Parker, who is the happiest baby!
Growing up the child of a prominent home builder in Hinsdale, it was only inevitable that I would develop an affinity for building and design! I attended Harrington College of Design in Chicago for Interior Design and worked in the family business during and after my schooling.
I have over 12 years in the interior design and construction industry which I now have paired with my real estate business. I have many skills I offer my clients, which may otherwise be outsourced (such as staging your home and/or offering design consultations to ready your home for a sale or helping buyers visualize changes that can be made to transform a fixer-upper into their ideal home). This is an asset I bring to The Casselyn Group to help set our team apart. I also have my RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) certification.
I currently live in Oak Park with my husband and three children. We love watching our kids grow in such a great community. When I am not working, I enjoy being outside with my kids, working out, trying new restaurants, reading and baking.
With no official real estate experience, I've excitedly joined the Casselyn Group to put my marketing background to good use. I graduated Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2006 with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in History. I have worked for a few companies in the Chicagoland area before ultimately deciding to stay home with my two girls while running a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dog rescue, dabbling in some direct sales and freelancing.
I grew up in Hinsdale along with my team members, and enjoy spending time with my husband, Josh, two daughters, Cora and Lucy and our two pit bulls, Ducky and Flynn. We are a proud Army veteran family as Josh served in Afghanistan from 2006-2008. In our free time, we love spending time as a family, enjoy yummy food, being at the beach and playing with our girls.
I love the real estate industry, looking at houses and seeing the potential of well-loved homes like the one my family and I currently live in. I am devoted to delivering the ultimate customer service experience for clients and making sure to respond in a timely manner to inquiries. I look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to The Casselyn Group.
